Email marketing is all about creating powerful emails that your subscribers will open, read, and act on. Sometimes the time when you send out your email, is an important factor that determines how many people will open it.

Your list is one of the most valuable assets of your online business. On average, you can expect to earn about one dollar every month for each subscriber that you have on your list.

Hearing this information, don't go out and buy a list of subscribers to try to immediately build up your list. The best list is made up of targeted subscribers. That is, they are interested in products related to your niche.

When you buy subscribers, most of them will NOT be targeted to your niche. For this reason, few of them will be interested in the products that you are recommending and many of them will quickly unsubscribe from your list.

You are much better off developing your list the old fashioned way, by earning them. Develop a good squeeze page and offer a great incentive. Use a diversified mix of marketing campaigns and drive people to your squeeze page. A good offer can convert between 30% and 50% of your visitors into subscribers.

If your conversions are significantly less than this, examine your squeeze page and offer. Make some changes to make it a more compelling offer.

When creating an email campaign, give some thought to the timing of your offer. Emails that are sent out late Monday through Thursday get a better response than those sent out on Friday or over the weekend. It seems that many people are checking their email at work.

Monday seems to be a bad day because email boxes fill up over the weekend and causes an overflow on Monday.

So, to maximize your email success, send them out sometime between late Monday afternoon and Thursday. BY focusing on the timing of your emails, you can become a much more successful email marketer.
